Setup an Auth Creator Account
First, You'll need a Paycor username & password with access to AppCreator. The Developer Portal is available to all Paycor clients, however, you must have an HR/Payroll/Company Admin create an App Creator account to utilize the API.
Go to developers.paycor.com
Click on “Sign In” in the upper-right hand corner
Now back on the main landing page developers.paycor.com select “Join” on the main page
Select “Get Started” below “Are you an existing Paycor Client”
Then you will be able to select the Client ID's you would like to be eligible for this App Creator account or Select All existing and Future Clients
Next, you will have the ability to assign yourself as the App Creator admin or another current Paycor User as the App Creator Admin
Finally, select “Request Access” and your account will be created and an email will be sent to the User designated as the Admin. Only Company Admin, Payroll Admin or HR Admin can access the API.
Once the user is created you can enter in your Company ID and authenticate Paycor through Merge Link.
Find your Company ID
Click on the ☰ menu icon, then click on Company > Departments.
You'll find your company ID on the top left. It will look something like "290180". Enter the Company ID into Merge Link.
Next, a new window will appear with a login to the Paycor website. Login, and you should be all set to authenticate.
