Last updated: September 11, 2026

Overview

To authenticate Warp using an API key, you will need to provide the following information:

  • API key

This guide will walk you through finding or creating that credential within Warp.

Prerequisites

  • You must be an admin in Warp to generate a Warp company API key.

Instructions

Step 1: Connect your production or sandbox account

  1. Select whether you want to link a production account or a sandbox account.

  2. Click Continue.

Step 2: Sign in to your Warp dashboard

Sign in to Warp at https://app.joinwarp.com/. If you're connecting to your Warp Sandbox, sign in at https://staging-dev.joinwarp.com instead.

Step 3: Navigate to your developer settings

After logging in, navigate using the left side panel via Integrations > Developer to land on the API Keys page.

1) Click Integrations

2) Click Developer

You can also navigate to the API Keys page using the search bar at the top, or Warp’s Command-K shortcut.

Search for API Keys, then select the expected result under Pages!
