Freshservice - How do I connect using a custom domain?

Finding your original Freshservice domain to connect your account

If your Freshservice account uses a custom domain (e.g. support.yourcompany.com), you'll need to find the original subdomain provided by Freshservice in order to connect the account.

Finding the original subdomain

  1. Open your Freshservice account in a web browser.

  2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select "Inspect" to open the browser's developer tools.

  3. In the developer tools panel, click on the "Network" tab.

  4. Log into your Freshservice account if you haven't already.

  5. In the Network tab of the developer tools, look for a request to the "accounts" endpoint.

  6. Click on the "accounts" request and look for the "domain" field in the response data. This will show the original subdomain before it was customized.

Connecting the account

Once you have the original subdomain, you can use it in the linking flow to connect your Freshservice account.
