Overview
To authenticate Clockwork, you will need to provide the following information:
API Key
Secret Key
Firm Key
This guide will walk you through finding or creating those credentials within Clockwork.
Instructions
Step 1: Generate an API key
Sign in to Clockwork
Click your name in the upper right to open the dropdown menu
Click "Profile" in the menu
Find the "API Keys" section in "Profile"
Press "Create" in the upper-right
If "Create" is not an option, delete an existing key. If you already have a key, and have its Secret Key stored, you can use those for this step and next.
Copy and add the API key that appears below
Tip: Don't close the window before the next step! You'll need the Secret Key on this screen
Step 2: Add your API key to the linking flow
Step 3: Grab your Secret Key and Firm Service Key
Grab your Secret Key from the
Create API KeySection
Close the Create API Key popup and then grab your Firm Service Key in the
API KeysSection
Step 4: Add your Secret Key and Firm Key to the linking flow
Step 4: Grab your subdomain and add it to the linking flow
Find your subdomain in the "Clockwork" section on your profile page
Add it to the linking flow
