By default, SmartRecruiters linked accounts interact with the SmartRecruiters Customer API.

If you’d like to utilize Merge for passthrough requests to the SmartRecruiters Marketplace API, you will need to add a new Linked Account with a SmartRecruiters partner API token (which can be obtained by signing up for the marketplace here.

You can use the end_user_origin_id field when creating a link token to distinguish between Customer and Marketplace API tokens.
