Our pricing units are based on common model counts for live Linked Accounts (i.e., end-user organizations)! We use Employees for our HRIS API and Candidates for our ATS API, as we map selected fields to those common objects in each category.

We leverage these pricing units, as common model counts are a measure of platform utilization and help normalize pricing across Linked Accounts of various sizes. Additionally, they are a good proxy for Merge’s cost to service, as Merge syncs and stores data associated with each common instance.
